How Do You Get Sex Toys Past Middle East Censors? 12

Well, apparently Lebanese designer, Marc Dibeh, has a solution – introducing Love the Bird lamp:

It looks innocent right? Not quite:

Called Love the Bird, a bird perched on a vibrator doubles up as a sex toy and a switch for the lamp, determining the colour of the light when inserted.

More photos from Dezeen:

Dezeen: The lamp is yellow with the switch inserted and turns red when removed

Dezeen: The object was designed to provide a sex toy hidden in an everyday object that could be sold in shops without taboo.

Quite ingenious.
