As a follow-up to my previous post, Air Arabia has chosen Egypt for its third hub:
UAE low-cost carrier Air Arabia said on Wednesday it would launch a new budget airline with Egyptian tourism group Travco, enabling it to open its third hub.
The decision was down to Beirut and Egypt and apparently Lebanon has lost.

Sad news. It would have been excellent for Lebanon if they were chosen :S

With the hope that it would be chosen as the fourth hub.

Well clearly, it is important to find out why in the hope the next time around, if such an opportunity rises again, we know what to do. Now that’s what a responsible government should do. But when it takes more than 90 days to put a government together only to start back at square one, you really dont give much confidence to the business community.
