A great submission from Babagannouj:
Villagers were left fearing for their lives after arsonists torched five cars in a single street.
Firefighters described the scene as ‘something out of downtown Beirut’ when they tackled the blazing motors yesterday morning.
In case you are wondering, this is what downtown Beirut looks like to the citizens of Worcestershire:
I’m sorry but this is absolutely not downtown Beirut. In Lebanon, we wouldn’t hit the streets at 3am, under the cover of darkness, to ignite a few cars and run. We’d, under the cover of political connections, light a car and stay around to keep fanning the flames. That’s how we do it:
If you can’t beat them, join them?!
Tarek: Or more like if you cant beat them, ignite their car I guess.
Are you sure it wasn’t done by a Lebanese living in Worcestershire 🙂 ?
Marillionlb: And the plot thickens! Actually there are two Lebanese restaurants within 25 miles of Worcestershire, though more often then not, they are run by Syrians.
Or the arsons could be taking their cue from this: Assailants Torch LOG Member’s Car
