As you have noticed, THE DAILY STAR has faced some severe challenges in the past couple of weeks that have prevented us from publishing.
We are thrilled to announce, however, that the reports of this newspaper’s demise were greatly exaggerated. In fact, we expect to re-launch our operations during the first week of February 2009. Our goal, as always, is to keep providing you, the reader, with independent news and views.
Finally and most importantly, THE DAILY STAR would like to thank all of those who reached out to us with expressions of concern and offers of assistance during this difficult period. The outpouring of support was deeply appreciated, only added to our motivation to revive this newspaper – and will keep reminding us of why we need to try even harder to retain your loyalty.
