A Lebanese restaurant in Oxford, UK has been shut down by health inspectors because:

Raw meat was found next to cooked chicken, yoghurt, cheese and salad at the restaurant…

Ah, well, that’s what we call lunch! Probably thinking that the inspectors wouldn’t buy it, Mimo Mahfouz (owner of Al-Shami restaurant) had this to say:

…[the] timing of the inspectors’ visit was unfortunate because the restaurant had received a big delivery of meat from London just an hour before the inspectors arrived, and there had not been enough time to pack it away because of staff shortages.

Luckily enough, the restaurant may reopen this week after the inspectors give it the green light.
